A riverfront parkland which stretches for around 7 miles off the Ross River The parklands cover areas at Pioneer Park, Loam Island, Apex Park and Ross Park at the Ross River Dam. Which all are great areas to visit, spend the day wandering around and enjoy the freedom of nature and the wide open spaces that the parkland offers.
Castle Hill
This attraction rises out of Townsville, a total height of over 80 meters that dominates the skyline. From the top it offers amazing views of the city and over to Magnetic island just of the coast. A must climb for all visitors to the city.
