Pedal Brakes and Normal Brakes

If you rent a bike, make sure you are familiar with the brakes! Traditional Dutch bikes have pedal-brakes rather than handlebar brakes. Don’t worry if you’re unfamiliar with pedal brakes, you can still ask for a bike with normal brakes.
