Dodgy taxis

The commonest crime facing tourists visiting Greece is fraud at the hands of dishonest taxi drivers waiting outside the airport. The standard taxi fare from the airport to Athens costs around 30 euros. However, a significant number of deceitful taxi drivers can charge fares of up to 50 euros for the same trip.
