Bastille
Rising 476m above sea level, this former military fort was built in the 19th Century. It overlooks the city, taking place on the rocky mountain in which it sits. As the most-visited tourist site in Grenoble, there is so much to explore here, with history being a major element. By using the Grenoble Cable Car, it takes 7 minutes to reach the top. If you aren’t afraid of heights, this attraction really is one to see.
Jadrin de Ville
For a peaceful walk around the city, enter the Jardin de Ville, an urban park and gardens. This is perfect to take children, with a playground being on site. Be surrounded with natural wonder whilst catching up with friends at this scenic park.
Perret Tower
This is an observation tower that is located the Paul Mistral public park. In 1998, it was declared as a national heritage site. Standing 110 meters high, this tower is spread over 25 floors. In the 1990s, the tower was part of a restructuring project. This tower offers 360 degree views of the city.
