Osaka Castle was built in 1586, and at one point was the largest castle in Japan. The 5 story main tower offers a great museum showcasing the city and castle’s ancient history. Make sure to book in advance, as the castle can get very busy, especially during peak tourist season.
The aquarium building has a very unique look – some have compared to looking like it was made with Lego bricks! One of the largest aquariums in the world, the attraction is split into various different underwater habitats, including the Pacific Ocean and Antarctica. The aquarium is also open at night, and visitors will be amazed at the beautiful light-up displays
