Dresden’s wonderful botanical garden is home to over 10,000 different plant species, all originating from a variety of different locations. The garden also has several different greenhouses which you can enter and learn more about the different species of plant. A particular highlight are the fossil tree stumps, which lived a very long time ago.
Located to the southwest of the centre of the city, the Grand Garden is the largest garden in Dresden. There is a palace you can visit and also various stages dotted around the place where many live music events are held.
